*I was given a copy in exchange for an honest review.

This book has a pleasant MC out for revenge. Personally, I’m fond of main characters like this. The narrator is nice to listen to. While the author does tend to tell a lot more than I prefer the things that are told are not boring. Unfortunately, the author has a tendency to mix up the timing of things, which is not a stylistic choice I enjoy as I’d rather things just be completely linear. For example the MC entering a room and coming back out then explaining what went on in the room to make the character come back out. Still, it was a good read and I’m looking forward to the next book.

A killer with a white picket fence. Suburbia, a great place for a man with secrets to hide - while investing in some solid real estate. The biggest drawback? Neighbors. In this case, a neighbor with sexy curves and a bright smile. Good thing she's not his type. Single moms with annoying exes are on the do-not-date list. Stay away. Calvin wants to; it's just not happening. He can't help but find himself drawn to the chaos next door. And when danger threatens his suburban lifestyle, this assassin doesn't hesitate to act.

The Narrator sounded pretty weird at first but when I listened at 1.25x speed she sounded fine. The story itself was cute and worth a listen.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I found the character and his insanity/ super ability very fascinating.

Any additional comments?

I really enjoined this and it is worth anyone's time.
