Cherry is the worst nightmare a mother of a son could ever envision. Her scheming and manipulative behavior gave me absolute chills. I could not quit listening especially towards the end. The story was extremely believable and the excellent narration literally had me on pins and needles to the very end.

I enjoyed this trilogy and I must say I might have found a new favorite author. The characters were complex and interesting. I had no idea what was happening next. The descriptions were so vivid I could visualize in my head every detail. The narration was perfect. I enjoyed his voice and it had just the right amount of expression. At the end of the book I thought that I had the same feeling that I had after I read “The Shining” forty years ago. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys psychological thrillers. I would not recommend this book to someone who is close minded or has to love the characters because you won’t.

I listen to books all the time and this one was without a doubt one of the best. Hopefully, this is a series because I just can't get enough. Also, I really enjoyed the performance as the actor has a great voice.

I've never bought a romantic audible book before because I don't usually get into the sappy stuff. I will admit I bought it for the cover, but I was very surprised to find that I couldn't quit listening. The storyline was actually riveting, the performance was great and I enjoyed it quite a bit.

A serial killer stalks women in rural Ohio. He is deranged but brilliant, known only by the grotesque nickname the media has given him - The Doll Parts Killer. The name is apt. He dismembers his victims and leaves them in garbage bags in public places. A residential neighborhood. Next to a roller rink. Behind a Burger King. The investigation is a disaster. No physical evidence. Unreliable witnesses. To make matters worse, the FBI has lost contact with the star profiler working the case.

I enjoyed this book thoroughly. The descriptions of gore and what happens to the human body under physical duress or death reads as if written by a pathologist.
