Samuel Clearwater, aka Preppy, likes bowties, pancakes, suspenders, good friends, good times, good drugs, and a good f--k. He's worked his way out from beneath a hellish childhood and is living the life he's always imagined for himself. When he meets a girl, a junkie on the verge of ending it all, he's torn between his feelings for her and the crippling fear that she could be the one to end the life he loves.

It always disappoints and frustrates me when a series goes books deep with narrator(s) who are so amazing and bring the characters to life and then change them for the worse. Great series and characters otherwise.

Derrick "The Love Whisperer" King gives out relationship and sex advice on the radio to everyone, but he’s giving me something a bit more personal. Nobody’s ever talked to me the way he does. Daring, demanding, sexy...and oh, so dirty. Maybe we started this whole thing a little backward, sex first and getting to know each other after. But I'm starting to let my guard down, my untrusting heart beginning to think that maybe fairy tales do come true. Even for me.

I never write reviews but this book would have been so much better without Tracy as the female narrator. I read the reviews and listened to the first book with her as a narrator and thought I'd give her a second chance. I just cannot get past her stacoto rhythm and annoying voice. If not for Sebastian York I would have returned this book I'm a heart best, but I absolutely love his narrations.

sadly disappointed!

Dinesh D'Souza, author of the #1 New York Times bestseller America, is back with this darkly entertaining deconstruction of Hillary Clinton's flawed character and ideology. From her Alinskyite past to her hopes for America's progressive future, the presumptive Democratic nominee is revealed to be little more than a political gangster intent on controlling the nation's wealth.

Three went in; one came out. For five years, no trace has been found of two high-school friends who went hiking in the woods near Nashville. The third teen, Amber Ryder, was discovered at the bottom of a ravine with a broken arm, head trauma - and zero memory of the horror that put her there.

I have a great appreciation for the hard work and dedication that go into writing a book as well as performing it but this series left me extremely disappointed. Carrying the same characters through each book but having a different, progressively less pleasing, narrator really made me lose taste for the characters by the end. I finished each book because I enjoyed the plot/story but that's it.

This book left me wanting to return it very early on. Karen White did these characters justice in Cover your Eyes. I wish they had stayed with her throughout the series.
