In 1984, at the age of 20, Duff McKagan left his native Seattle - partly to pursue music, but mainly to get away from a host of heroin overdoses then-decimating his closest group of friends in the local punk scene. In LA only a few weeks and still living in his car, he answered a want ad for a bass player placed by someone who identified himself only as "Slash." Soon after, the most dangerous band in the world was born. Guns N' Roses went on to sell more than 100 million albums worldwide.

I really enjoyed listening to this book. It made my commute to and from work fun and enjoyable. I grew up listening to Guns and Roses so learning about their start and all of what they went through was great. Can't wait to buy Duffs other books!

In the span of four months in 2012, Tig Notaro was hospitalized for a debilitating intestinal disease called C. diff, her mother unexpectedly died, she went through a breakup, and then she was diagnosed with bilateral breast cancer. Hit with this devastating barrage, Tig took her grief onstage. Days after receiving her cancer diagnosis, she broke new comedic ground, opening an unvarnished set with the words, "Good evening. Hello. I have cancer. How are you? Hi, how are you? Is everybody having a good time? I have cancer."

Rebellious, headstrong, independent and on her own at 15, Lorelei dreamed of being a model. She made that happen through determination and serendipity; a chance meeting with a '70s Southern California rock star opened the A-list Hollywood doors to a wondrous world, as well as a full-blown romance. Pounding the pavement in L.A. and New York taught her the hard knocks of being a working-class model.

Where does Runway RunAway rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It was great quality and I liked that the author read the book.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Runway RunAway?

I truly enjoyed this book and learning how she got into the modeling industry. It was nice to read that she was so independent at such an early age and made something of herself in the modeling industry. Good for her! :) It was specially touching to know what she went through with Steve Clark. I have been a huge Def Leppard fan since I was 12 years old and it was nice to know that Steve had something that loved him and stood by his side all the way. I wish the could have had an opportunity to live happily ever after. They both deserved it. Great book.

Which scene was your favorite?

Her love story with Steve Clark.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It was very touching. But there were some funny moments as well.
