Something Borrowed tells the story of Rachel, a young attorney living and working in Manhattan. Rachel has always been the consummate good girl---until her 30th birthday, when her best friend, Darcy, throws her a party. That night, after too many drinks, Rachel ends up in bed with Darcy's fiancé. Although she wakes up determined to put the one-night fling behind her, Rachel is horrified to discover that she has genuine feelings for the one guy she should run from.

I was disappointed at the ending because I felt that it gave the characters in the situation of infidelity, an "out." It was sort of like "oh well." Darcy was a spoiled beauty and Rachel seemed like a weak yet goody two shoes who all of a sudden realizes she's in love with her BFF's fiance who is also her law school friend, whom she introduced to each other in the first place. Now, she's the maid of honor and decides to have an affair with the soon to be groom? I hope the movie is better than the book.
