These books are super cute and fun.
The narrator isn’t that great but keep going the narrator will change with book 4! I changed the speed to 1.25 and it helped tremendously.

DGS Summer books are great as well.

We get so much action in this book. It’s crazy how fast this book went. Can’t wait for the next one. I love that some secrets were reviled. Again Jeff broke my heart but I know he’ll mend it...hopefully.
I just wish I was more invested in the love stories. Adam and Cettie hardly spent any time together. They are great characters but we never got to see them fall in love. We got to see a little bit of Sara and Trevin. Alas, I guess they can’t all be Mia & Collier and Lia and Colver. (I am certain I spelled all there names wrong.)

This was a sweet Christmas story. A second chance romance for both the leading characters. Predictable but not boring.

I wasn’t a fan of the narrator but I’ve heard worse. She just didn’t have enough range to make the voices distinct. A couple of times I felt like I couldn’t tell if Will or Christina was talking during one of their conversations. She did a good job with the little boy though. I also felt like the narrator was a little “blah”, she could’ve had a little more inflection to her reading voice.

FBI Special Agent Cate Wilde is back home on a remote Pacific Northwest island when she gets the call: a teenager’s skeletal remains have been found on a nearby island. Together with Tessa Black, a childhood friend turned local deputy, Cate confronts dreary weather and bleak leads to make sense of the death. The complications pile up as Cate is distracted by the coroner on the case - and by nagging memories that draw her two decades into the past.
