If you love Harlan Coban, Tami Hoag, Michael Connelly, or Lee Child, you'll also love Harry Starke. Harry is no Reacher or Bosch clone. He's a force unto himself, but the fans love him. If you like realism, fast-paced, nonstop action, you'll love Blair Howard's highly acclaimed series. Grab this box set of the first three stories now. You won't want to stop listening!

I have a few issues: Harry Starke needs to decide if he wants to be a red neck or a sophisticated gentleman. Presently, he is a bit of both with his unsophisticated language and his comments about designer clothing and high end wine and food. I would also like to see him solve a case that is not tied to the police. Do the police really rely on Private Investigators to solve their crimes? That said, the characters were well developed and the stories engaging. I’ll read him again.

There will never be another Tom Clancy but at least Jack Ryan is still going strong. The book was a little hard to follow because of all the characters and all the countries visited. Might have been easier in written form but still an enjoyable read.

Clara may be the woman Adam wants, but there's one problem: She's far more interested in publishing her women's journal than getting married - especially to a man said to be dead-set on vengeance. Though with her nose for a story, Clara wonders if his desire for justice is sincere - along with his incredibly unnerving intention to be her husband. If her weak-kneed response to his kiss is any indication, falling for Adam clearly comes with a cost. But who knew courting danger could be such exhilarating fun?

I life historical romance novels. I do. But I couldn’t follow this story line at all. The narration was very poor. I never found the story line. The author repeated herself over and over. I just couldn’t finish. Couldn’t even get half way through. I hope I didn’t pay much for this book.

With this explosive information in-hand, Stone Barrington is caught between a rock and a hard place.

Not my favorite Stuart Woods and not my favorite Stone Barrington. I’ll still read it at least a dozen times. And even though it’s not my favorite, it’s still a really good read. Touches on politics, financial crime, and organized crime. It introduces a new character in the Stone Barrington series; a young computer geek that I hope to hear from again.

Total fiction. The story could never be true. I couldn’t relate because the story was so unbelievable. The narration was so slow I had to set it faster than normal. But, it was still a fun read, as Johanna Lindsey’s books are. I might even listen to it again.
