Something sinister is going on in Baronville. The rust belt town has seen four bizarre murders in the space of two weeks. Cryptic clues left at the scenes - obscure Bible verses, odd symbols - have the police stumped. Amos Decker and his FBI colleague Alex Jamison are in Baronville visiting Alex's sister and her family. It's a bleak place: a former mill and mining town with a crumbling economy and rampant opioid addiction. Decker has been there only a few hours when he stumbles on a horrific double murder scene.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This is a great book to listen to while driving or when you are needing to stay awake. Good action, supported by a good story line.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Consent to Kill?

Without giving the story line away - not all the characters are indispensable, the author provides some good twists that kept me coming back.

What does George Guidall bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He is good, provides acceptable character tones and seems true to the story.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Narration as other reviewers have stated is not as good but I have a hard time not listening to a complete series so I was able to endure it.
