Fantastic book that follows all the other in this series!!! I buy the latest as soon as it’s released and I’m never disappointed. Teri, you did an amazing job at the narration as usual. I honestly don’t know what I’d do if the next in the series was narrated by anyone else. I sure hope there’s more to the story.
Thank you Kendra!

For Mercy Kilpatrick, returning to rural Oregon has meant coming to terms with her roots. Raised as a prepper, Mercy is now relying on her survivalist instincts to defend her town from the people the law can’t reach. But this time, an investigation calling up a dark past for her and police chief Truman Daly may be hitting too close to home. A rainstorm has uncovered the remains of five people - a reprise of the distinctive slaughter of two families twenty years ago. Except the convicted killer is in prison. Is this the case of a sick copycat, or is the wrong man behind bars?

I’ve read every book that has been published by JD Robb and have always enjoyed them, up u til the last few. There’s no thrill in the story line, at all. It’s boring. I almost stopped listening several times, but thought, it will get better..it didn’t. Let’s come with something a little more interesting next time or I’m done with this series.
As always, narration was excellent.
