There’s a fine line between lust and hate. I don’t care that Drew Merritt spent the last year transforming himself from grungy slob to sexy playboy. With messy, dirty blond hair and gorgeous eyes, his looks aren’t the problem. His mouth is. And the stupid things that come out of it. But after an emergency strands us together, and he does his damnedest to take care of me.... Let’s just say there’s one thing we don’t clash on. And it doesn’t involve talking.

it doesnt say so, but read all about the D first.

the characters were slightly better than the last book, they communicated a little better, and I understood where each of them were coming from with their insecurities. this book wasnt as funny as I had hoped it would be though!!

You know how people say you can never believe what you read on the interwebs? That a hot guy online is probably a creeper with a beer gut and a shoe fetish, not the sexy beast he pretends to be? So I had no clue that the anonymous blogger who contacted my law firm about his naughty website would be droolworthy in real life. Not that I'm interested in him in that way. Attorneys can't go around sleeping with their clients. Not even if he is the most beautiful man I've ever met and so ridiculously smart he makes my nerdy-girl heart sigh.

this book was pretty good. it had a great plot idea, and humor, nothing too serious, a funny nice light read.
what made this a 3 for me instead of 5 were the character developments.
The female Evie was so insecure and weal it was annoying how much she judged ethan and never really learned to trust him or ask his side of the story first. she would just run away.
on the other hand Ethan was a horrible communicator, I mean hes thinking how much he cares about her and wants her then he let's his family walk all over him and say he engaged to someone else in front of her.
they did get an HEA but it got really annoying towards the end, same circle of miscommunication and insecurity.

I wasn't sure what to expect based on the summary but this plot line was great! its like 500 years in the future and women took over the world after men almost caused the extinction of the entire world. however there is a small group of men who would not be ruled by women and they live on their own. Christina volunteers to go on a expedition to the north men and gets the culture shock of her life when she meets huge, muscled, bearded, and foul mouthed Alexander boulder. each group thinks they have the right of it and it really makes you think about our current society's definitions of equality. The author does make each side extreme, the men sexist pigs, the women stuck up feminists who turn their own men into infertile metrosexuals, but I think they did that to show that the world really needs to find a balance. Each gender needs something from the other, and while neither group wants to admit that in this book its glaringly obvious that is so. It's quite funny how these futuristic characters view past generations, due to nuclear destruction they don't know much about why the past lived the way they did so it's hilarious when they speculate as to their motivations and rituals. The balance is great because one person says something so stupid and naiieve about the other gender and you want to hate them but then the other side says something just as bad so you cant even pick a side instead I found myself rooting for them to realize how much they all need each other!
it was a great book and I cant wait to see how this series progresses!!
