"I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review." I was born during the World War II era and have always enjoyed stories pertaining to that time. This is a cute story of a war bride and her adjustment to America. Maggie Cameron is a Scottish Bride, who was formally a motorcycle currier for the British Army. When she arrives in America it is hard for hler to see the abundance of food and other supplies, compared to the deprevation of her country. I really enjoyed this book by Kathleen Ball and narrated by Evan Schmitt.

I have enjoyed the entiree series [Mail Order Brides of Texas] and really liked the way Kathleen Ball brough Poor Boy back into the story. Having gone away to school, Poor Boy returnes to Asherville,Texas, as deputy to Sheriff Shane O'Connor. Unexpectedly his stage arrives in town to see the sheriff riding out after two bank robbers. Of course Poor Boy joins in the chase and our story begins to unfold. I hope this is not tlhe last book in this series. I look forward to seeing what Kathleen does next. Jullie Hoverson did a great job with the narration.

His father’s sudden injury puts John in charge at work and at home, leaving little time for battle scars to heal. I don't read a lot of contemporary books, but this one was full of love , commitment and family values. It is a story of a WWII couple and the adjustment they make at the end of the war. I really enjoyed reading this and feel that Pamela Ferguson and Rebecca Fine did marvelous jobs.

"This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review." This was the first book written by Victoria Vale that I have read and I thoroughly enjoyed it [maybe not all the explicit sex]. The story revolves around Lady Olivia Goodall, through flashbacks, from the age of six to about twenty-three At the age of 10 she fell in love with the son of her step-father's stable manager, and the love lasted throughout the story. When Lady Victoria went to London for her presentation, she was raped by a peer and housed in a mental institute when she accused the gentleman. It is a gripping story and I enjoyed it. I look forward to reading the sequel.

"This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review." I can't get over how amazing Caroline Fyffe is able to think up such amazing stories. This is the first time I have listened to her book before reading it and I loved it,. These stories about the Brinkman sisters are like stepping back and listening to stories told by my grandfather. I have enjoyed learning about Bell [Heart of Eden], and seeing her married. Getting to know Lavenia [True Heart's Desire ] was great and I look forward to stories about the other three sisters and the town of Eden, Colorado.

"This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review." I love Chance City Books and have all of the paper backs. Listening to 'On the Fence' was very interesting. I was able to really enjoy the book and not have to concentrate so much [ I tend to get side tracked very easily] There were many things that I could picture and just see the action. One scene was when Brock came in buckskins to serenade Daphne, I had to laugh at that sight, Ilook forward to more of Robin Deeter's Audio Books. Jay R. Smith did a fabulous job narrating this book.

"This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review." I haven't read books 1 or 2, but I believe it would have been a good thing to do. This book is a stand alone, but there are references to the other books that I would have loved to know about. 'Love in Lead' is a good story, it's clean but still has romance in it. The plot involves Captain Roth investigating to see if Eva is helping the Indians. Their relationship is kind of tepid for a while, but of course love wins in the end.
