This is the continuation of the book "Love Does" which I highly recommend. With everybody always Bob tells of his encounters with some not so easy to love people. I enjoyed it from beginning to end. Bob narrates his books and it always sounds like he is smiling as he reads. I love listening to all his escapades. What a remarkable family. This book is a repeat listen book. Some books I listen once and I'm done, Not with Bob Goff1

"Sometimes I want to spend hours talking with my best friends about boys and fashion and school and life. I want to go to the gym; I want my hair to look nice; I want to be allowed to wear jeans. I want to be a normal young woman living in America, sometimes. But I want other things more. All the time. I want to be spiritually and emotionally filled every day. I want to be loved and cuddled by a hundred children and never go a day without laughing.

There are books that i read that are pure pleasure and there are some books that I read that have such an impact on me that I am forever changed. Kisses from Katie tells of the strength, unconditional love, and sacrifice that God used in this young woman who had a dream to help children in Uganda. Katie demonstrates selfless love that comes with the price of great loss at times and other times has an eternal payoff. This book took me through the whole gamut of emotions. I will listen to it again and again. Another plus is the narrator captures the emotions with realistic emphasis in all the right places.

The Power of Kindness is a stirring examination of a simple but profound concept. Piero Ferrucci, one of the world's most respected transpersonal psychologists, explores the many surprising facets of kindness and argues that it is this trait that will not only lead to our own individual happiness and the happiness of those around us, but will guide us in a world that has become cold, anxious, difficult, and frightening.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

I am a Rivers fan and I have read this book years ago, but I did not like the narrator. Also, the overuse of the word "sardonic " became bothersome.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

Did not finish.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Richard Ferrone?

Probably not

Did A Voice in the Wind inspire you to do anything?

The actual book was very inspiring, but the audio was disappointing.

What did you love best about Warm Bodies?

I loved listening to R's thoughts, and then hearing how he managed to speak his mind.

Who was your favorite character and why?

M was my favorite character. His humor was a definite plus to the plot.

What about Kevin Kenerly’s performance did you like?

He was quite zombie-like. Great job.

If you could rename Warm Bodies, what would you call it?

Love is not dead

Any additional comments?

I saw the movie first, and the book has some differences. That was ok and to be expected. There were occasions where it was difficult to determine which character was speaking. I will listen again though.
