Regina (Reggie) Spark has loved Broderick Killoran, the resourceful and protective proprietor of the Devil’s Den, ever since he saved her from the streets and made her his right hand at the notorious gaming hell. For just as long, Reggie has never admitted her true feelings for him. Nor has she revealed her spirited ambitions - to buck convention and expectations and open a music hall. While Broderick built his gaming empire with ruthless cunning, his loyalty to his employees is boundless.

I can’t begin to say how much l enjoyed this book. The performance was amazing. The voices made each character shine in their own personality. The story itself was completely original. I loved it. All the characters were deep and you could see their points of view. I was so sad when this book ended. Now I will get the next one.

Love this book. The story is amazing. So many twists & turns. Christi Caldwell writes amazing characters who are imperfect & that makes them the best ones to read about. Tim Campbell does an amazing job on narration. The book is wildly romantic & funny. I laughed at many moments. Great stand alone or get the series. I love this family. .

The book is great. I love Christi Caldwell's writing style. This book is a fabulous as a stand alone but if you are like me and love a series you are in luck. This book is a marriage of 2 series. The Tidmores are back! The third Tidmore girl is out in society. There is only fun with this family. The hero is a Dukes son by his mistress. But somehow (well the book will explain) was raised in Seven Dials. These two meet & everything changes. Lots of fun. Lots of intrigue. It's romance book with a bit of mystery thrown in! I love the evolving of the characters. I hope you enjoy as well. Whisper sync makes it even better!

This book starts off with a bang. I love Christ Caldwell's writing style. This book shows her venturing from Mayfair to the Dials. Helena is amazing & strong but still appropriate for the time period. I love the Hero as well Robert is all you want in a hero. I enjoy as always that the characters are human not perfect cut outs ideals. There is depth to each character. The best part is there are small details that hint to topics in future books. This book is great as a stand alone & even better if you read Christi's back list of books.
For Audio Tim Campbell is amazing. His voice is one of the greats. I always enjoy books he narrates.

It is a lesson Tabitha Timmons, a penniless spinster, has never needed to heed. That is, until she is left a vast fortune payable only upon her marriage to the very respectable Mr. Barkworth - a match that offers little chance of discovering exactly what her aunt means by "untoward attentions." But the same can't be said when the Duke of Preston happens along Tabitha's path....

First let me say Tim Campbell the narrator for this book puts on a performance to rival the radio greats of the 1930's. There are few narrators I enjoy listening to as much as him.
Christi Caldwell always writes amazing books. The characters have depth & are historically actuate. This book really stood out to me as superb. The hero is amazing. He is a self made man coming from the streets. The heroine comes from London Nobility. The course of love shows what is in your heart and your drive that make you the person you want to be in life. There are many characters from other books. They are terrific. My only wish was for an epilogue. I love them.
