After her divorce, Charlene Dugan vowed never to get married again - a promise she has kept for twenty-five years. Until the fateful day she finds herself uttering the well-known phrase - "Let's get married!" Almost immediately, Charlene's seemingly perfect life begins unraveling at the seams. Daughter Stephanie's own relationship is about to disintegrate, and she might be just a teensy-weensy bit jealous of her mom. And Charlene seems to be spending more time with her ex-husband than with her fiancé, Dennis.

Posey Osterhagen can't complain. She owns a successful architectural salvaging company, she's surrounded by her lovable, if off-center, family, and she has a boyfriend-sort of. Still, something's missing. Something tall, brooding and criminally good-looking - something like Liam Murphy. When Posey was 16, the bad boy of Bellsford, New Hampshire, broke her heart. But now he's back, sending Posey's traitorous schoolgirl heart into overdrive once again.

Kristan, I don’t know if you read your reviews but I’ve got to tell you that your sweet, funny romances have brought me great joy and lots of tickles. You are my new favorite author.! I stay up way to late because I can’t stop listening to your books and I wake my husband up in the middle of the night laughing out loud. By now I’ve listened to 75% of your books. It will be a sad day when I’ve listened to them all. Keep up the good work my dear.

Judith Hampton was as beautiful as she was proud and loyal. Her dear Scottish friend from childhood was about to give birth, and Judith had promised to be at her side. But there was another reason for the journey from her bleak English home to the Highlands: to meet the father she had never known, the Laird Maclean. Nothing prepared her, however, for the sight of the Scottish barbarian who was to escort her into his land...Iain Maitland, laird of his clan, a man more powerfully compelling than any she had ever encountered.

I really enjoyed this book! All the plot twisting kept my attention. I listen to audible books while in bed. The only thing I would complain about was the changes in the men's voices especially the harpy old men would wake me up. I fell in love with characters and am shopping for another book by this author.

I really enjoyed this book. The twists and turns were so well thought out and plausible. I usually figure out well before the end, "who did it"! Not this time. The characters were very well developed so I never had to think, now who was that? This is a very good read, I don't recommend starting it before bed or you will be up all night.

Where does The Witness [Brilliance Audio Edition] rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This was an outstanding, listen to all night type of book. I simply couldn't stop listening!
She took the suspense to a whole new level. I can't say enough good things about this book, I absolutely loved it and was sad when I finished.

What other book might you compare The Witness [Brilliance Audio Edition] to and why?

David Baldacci is one of my all time favorite writers. This book reminds me a bit of his, "Memory Man".

Which scene was your favorite?

To many to decide.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

This book made me sad with the awful family situation Elizabeth lived in, I wanted to yell at her stupid Mother. It left me very tired as I lost sleep because I couldn't stop listening. It made me happy to see Elizabeth defy her awful mother and find her own way. It made me very happy that she found a wonderful man with a wonderful family to finally realize what family love was all about.
