Beautifully written and captivating. Wonderful performance by the narrator. Couldn’t wait to get back into my car to listen to it every day. Enjoyed learning about Cuba. A wonderful historical fiction worth the read.

A great actor but he was stunted in his narration of this book. Actually could visualize him reading the book to me as if it were the first time he had done it. Could not get past it and therefore cannot comment on whether I liked the Storyline or not. Will buy the book and have my own voice for the characters inside my head instead.

Fantastic story narrated beautifully. A new favorite author for me no doubt! Sean Crisden is a talented narrator bringing multiple characters alive in a way that you feel their own individual personality. Elisa Davis’s voice is smooth & easy to listen to. A bad narrator can ruin a good story but these two were great. Will choose more books they narrate. Loved it!
