Echo Ridge is small-town America. Ellery's never been there, but she's heard all about it. Her aunt went missing there at age 17. And only five years ago, a homecoming queen put the town on the map when she was killed. Now, Ellery has to move there to live with a grandmother she barely knows. The town is picture-perfect, but it's hiding secrets. And before school even begins for Ellery, someone has declared open season on homecoming, promising to make it as dangerous as it was five years ago. Then, almost as if to prove it, another girl goes missing.

It was slow for nearly the first half of the book. I couldn't get into Malcom's perspective until the 2nd half.
I didn't guess the ending, but I can't say I was impressed either. I loved her other book but I suppose lightening doesn't strike twice. It's not a bad book by any means, I just was hoping to pulled in and I just wasn't.

It happens every year. A list is posted, and one girl from each grade is chosen as the prettiest, and another is chosen as the ugliest. Nobody knows who makes the list. It almost doesn't matter. The damage is done the minute it goes up.This is the story of eight girls, freshman to senior, "pretty" and "ugly." And it's also the story of how we see ourselves, and how other people see us, and the tangled connection of the two.

The performance was perfect! I enjoyed all of the characters. I just felt that the ending didn't wrap everything. I was left with questions and didn't feel satisfied with the conclusion.

Pay close attention, and you might solve this. On Monday afternoon five students at Bayview High walk into detention. Bronwyn, the brain, is Yale-bound and never breaks a rule. Addy, the beauty, is the picture-perfect homecoming princess. Nate, the criminal, is already on probation for dealing. Cooper, the athlete, is the all-star baseball pitcher. And Simon, the outcast, is the creator of Bayview High's notorious gossip app. Only Simon never makes it out of that classroom. Before the end of detention, Simon's dead.

I thoroughly enjoyed the book and the build up climb to the end was so good. I was constantly running my own theories. It was definitely a breakfast club meets Pretty Little Liars. I enjoyed the characters and their secrets, however I didn't care for Addy one bit. Her story was to predictable and even though she was "over" Jake instead of doing everything for him she did it in spite of him. Other than that and the ending I enjoyed it The preformance was AMAZING.

The performance was absolutely the best part!
