For my son yet I won't add this to his iPod
Is there anything you would change about this book?
I loved the idea, I was fascinated with wad, I just felt the audience this book was designed for was a very narrow male adolescent audience. With such a scope of well thought out worlds and clever storytelling; the underbelly subjects stole the story from being enjoyed by myself or my son at this time.
Was The Lost Gate worth the listening time?
If it had been in paperback form I wouldn't have got past the thievery, the breast and sex fascinations of the 13 year old. Which would have been a loss as it had parts to the story I really enjoyed, there is definitely potential. Hopefully the second book Danny's character will mature a bit.
