"It's hard to be a badass assassin when a giant is beating the crap out of you. Luckily, I never let pride get in the way of my work. My current mission is personal: annihilate Mab Monroe, the Fire elemental who murdered my family, which means protecting my identity, even if I have to conceal my powerful Stone and Ice magic when I need it most."

This series is fantastic and the narration could not be more perfect. Venom was my favorite so far. I can't wait for the next book!

Dorina Basarab is a dhampir - half-human, half-vampire. Subject to uncontrollable rages, most dhampirs live very short, very violent lives. So far Dory has managed to maintain her sanity by unleashing her anger on those demons and vampires who deserve killing. Now Dory's vampire father has come back into her life. Her uncle Dracula (yes, the Dracula), infamous even among vampires for his cruelty and murderous ways, has escaped his prison.

Bad Narrator

I could not get through this book. The narrator kind of drones on and then gets loud in random places. I have no idea if the book is any good because I was too bored to listen.

I love this series and the narrator really brings Kitty's character to life. This was probably my least favorite in the series, but it is still a great addition.
