Have you listened to any of Ryan West’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Ryan has Kym's characters down to a very artful science. He makes my feel everything I think Kym intended her readers to feel.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I totally listened to this book all in one sitting.

Any additional comments?

Wow Kym surely knows how to spin a tale. Garrett and Selby are one on FIRE couple. You know exactly what kind of heat you are in for from the very beginning. And I totally love the mystery who done it vibe that runs through this book and I can't wait til the next Club Altura book comes to Audible. I'm on the edge of my seat!!!

If you could take any character from Shadow Hunt out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Wow, that's a tough question.
Jody-because she is a risen vampire that still has a heart that loves Becca.
Sylvan-because she is the very strong Alpha that is trying to do right by her pack but knows that sometime you have to be allies with previous enemies to make that work.
Drake-because though she truly is the heart and soul of the pack, she is no pushover.

Who was your favorite character and why?

My absolute favorite character is Storm. Storm and Winter should be like oil and water; they never truly mix. But Storm never tries to be anything other than who and what she is. Strong, magical and a woman very much in love with her King.

Have you listened to any of Heather Wilds’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I fully enjoy listening to Ms. Wilde. She always makes the characters and the worlds created by the authors leap right off the page into the very space I occupy.

Would you listen to Cat's Lair again? Why?

I will listen to Cat's Lair again and again. The storyline is so full that it stands on its own. It was not necessary for me to listen to the previous books to fall right into the world so cleverly drawn out for me.

What did you like best about this story?

I loved both the story of Cat in all its tragicness as well as the very very steamy love scenes.

Marcus, so forlorn for so many centuries, never to have the woman he has loved from afar. Then a new woman is set in his path. Of course Mr Snarky Marcus doesn't want her: at first. This is definitely a love story for the ages. I love that Dianne Duvall has placed continuity at the forefront of her books. The performer makes the words leap right off the 'page' into my heart. I laughed out loud, I cried, and I couldn't wait for the twist. In fact I kept telling the book to tell me the secret too.
I think this combination of author Dianne Duvall and performer Kirsten Potter is absolute dynamite!

Even more damning is that Micah's problems pose a danger to his team, and if he doesn't get himself under control, they'll all suffer a terrible fate.

Magnus is a man of contradictions - a spiritual leader in a warrior's body. To him, laws are for enforcing and visions must be followed - even if that means freeing a beautiful slave and making her his reluctant handmaiden. Betrayed once before, Magnus can barely bring himself to trust another woman. Yet Daenaira's fiery innocence is drawing them both into a reckless inferno of desire. Daenaira grew up hearing tales of a fearsome priest who seemed more myth than reality. But Magnus is very real - every inch of him - and so is the treachery surrounding them.

Among the Shadowdwellers, Trace holds power that some are willing to kill for. Without a stranger's aid, one rival would surely have succeeded, but Trace's brush with death is less surprising to him than his reaction to the beautiful, fragile human who heals him. By rights, Trace should hardly even register Ashla's existence within the realm of Shadowscape, but instead he is drawn to everything about her-her innocence, her courage, and her lush, sensual heat.
