Outstanding depiction of our society.
Everything from issues with illegal immigrants, gun control, federal government overstepping, and pointless racist riots and mob rioting. It was amazing!
Everyone should read this, and think about what we are becoming.

The author's CIA experience really made this novel feel so real. The plot was very complex, the details were very vivid, and I could not put it down.
The fact that he also included recipes at the end of each chapter, that was a very unique addition.

Roshar is a world of stone and storms. Uncanny tempests of incredible power sweep across the rocky terrain so frequently that they have shaped ecology and civilization alike. Animals hide in shells, trees pull in branches, and grass retracts into the soilless ground. Cities are built only where the topography offers shelter. It has been centuries since the fall of the ten consecrated orders known as the Knights Radiant, but their Shardblades and Shardplate remain: mystical swords and suits of armor.

I started reading Sanderson after he was asked to finish writing the Wheel of Time series. I instantly fell in love with his work, and was quite excited to hear he signed his own deal for a personal epic fantasy series.

This work was magnificent! One of the things I love most about Sanderson is his very creative and unique forms of magic. The magic in the Stormlight series s very solid and interesting.

I would recommend this for any fantasy readers.

This second book moved the plot along very nicely, and really kept the listener captivated. My only complaint was in the altering of narrators, Wolf from book one did a much better job. She actually portrayed accents very well, providing more depth to the characters, sadly this new one does nothing of the sort.
