Jack is out for blood. After being manipulated by his family most of his life, and believing an even worse lie for the past few years, he has finally learned the truth. Now that he knows what V-Soft has taken from him, he’s going to take everything from them, even if the country is destroyed in the process. Great story about an anti hero. MC is conflicted smartass who is also a great schemer, supporting characters are well rounded.

Only a few weeks have passed since the Battle of Burrova, and Edward and his friends are busier than ever improving the Haunt and protecting the surviving villagers. Sadly, time is a scarce commodity in the world of Ivalis. Soon enough, Ed finds himself thrown in conflict against the man behind the mindbrood’s attack, a man who is seemingly capable of shrugging off mortal wounds and who is willing to unleash a devastating plague of undead against the Haunt and everyone inside.

Love it. All characters and companions have a chance to shine. The MC defeats enemies with innovative means, more smarts than brawn.

Launch day. That was what they called it. The day when over four million people vanished in an instant from the island of Manhattan. The day earthquakes ravaged the east coast. The day a 101-kilometer tall tower rose from the wreckage of the now empty city. The day every screen, newspaper, and smart phone displayed a single message from an unknown source: The Great Emperor has issued his challenge.

a decent story and interesting world. I find the main character to be spoiled, unlikable. the worst stereotypical gamer that is self obsessed, ungrateful and has no specific strengths. he has and succeeds only with great luck. I actually like the villain and parts of his plan.
