Once again Naomi Novik delivers! Rich and engrossing characters that you find yourself thinking about long after the book is closed. The narrator did a fantastic job. I think that Ms. Novik has earned herself a fan! Well done!

What made the experience of listening to Heir of Novron the most enjoyable?

The narration was great and the story had me hooked.

What other book might you compare Heir of Novron to and why?

I would compare Michael Sullivan to Brandon Sanderson in his ability to hook the reader.

Which scene was your favorite?

I didn't have a particular favorite, I had several.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Yes, I laughed and I cried. There were scenes in this book that really touched me. Sullivan is a great emotional writer. You feel as if you are in the middle of a story of real people.

Any additional comments?

I highly recommend this series to anyone that loves a good story. It has it all. The strong but flawed heroes, the strong women, the tales of ancients come again, politics, religion, heartache and joy. So good!

I found the book to be inspiring well written and very well narrated. I normally don't stick with long series of books but I'm stuck with this one. I found it intriguing the characters well written with good depth and the stories intertwined very well. she gets a little bit wordy a little bit verbose and some of the parts but it's OK because there is a lot of detail that has to be explained but I have really enjoyed the entire series thus far

I was introduced to Brandon Sanderson through his work on Robert Jordan's series The Wheel of Time. Being curious how he fared on his own work I purchased Elantris. I was not disappointed. He weaves an almost fairy-tale like story of a cursed city, clashes of politics and religions, and an unlikely love story. I found myself sucked into his world and very satisfied at the end. The characters tend to be a little too cliche but I didn't mind it. The narrator does a great job as well. If you want a great story and don't want to get sucked into a series I recommend this book.

A wonderfully enchanting tale that sucks you in from the beginning. If you are in the mood for a story like a fairy tale this is the book for you. Set in a somewhat medieval place this is the story of a young woman that has chosen to live as a boy to watch over "The Folk". A creepy magical people that live beneath people's houses and cause general havoc for everyone when they are not tamed by the Keeper. Corrina, the Folk Keeper, plans to stay and tend the Folk forever when she is visited by a Lord Martin who takes her away to a new life, and a place where she discovers many secrets about herself and the world around her. Just a fun read. I would highly recommend this if you have an afternoon to spend in dreamy repose.
