Concerned that technology is about to chase mythological creatures out into the open (how long can Sasquatch stay hidden from Google maps?), the League for Interspecies Cooperation is sending Jillian to Louisiana on a fact-finding mission. While the League hopes to hold on to secrecy for a little bit longer, they're preparing for the worst in terms of human reactions. They need a plan, so they look to Mystic Bayou, a tiny town hidden in the swamp where humans and supernatural residents have been living in harmony for generations.

Best book I've listened to in a long time. It kept me on the edge of my seat.
This book is for children of a certain age 10 and up to adults who have good imagination. It's a mystery thriller lots of twist and turns with a happy ending. I didnt want to stop listening. So I finished in 1 day. I'd give the author a 10 and the narrator made it so exciting like u were in the story with them. Narrator 10 stars. for really drawing u into the book. i never write reviews but this deserved a big 10. kudos to the narrator she was great.

"To whom are you taking her?" Merrill asked, uncharacteristically curious. "Dragon," Griffin grinned. I stared at Griffin, my mouth surely open in surprise. Dragon? There was somebody named Dragon? That didn't sound promising. Who named their kid Dragon?

I loved it. But if you haven't listened to the audio books 1 right after another. you need to listen from book 1 -3 remember the names of the characters or you might get lost in book 4 which is a real twist and more characters are added to book 4. but you need to remember the other characters or you'll be lost. this is a great book but you will be listening to what's going for 2 different stories and end with conclusion of the both stories. I had to rewind several times and you will too. but it's worth it

narrator was great.

I'm going to buy the next book now

Great story could listen to more than one time.

The narrator was very good. Worth the Credit.

I would rather listen to a woman narrator then men narrators.

When men narrate it puts me to sleep. Men might narrate the men better but the women voices sounds terrible. I like that most women can perform both men & women better. I wish for the highlander stories be performed by women. There are a lot of highlander books that I would listen to if the women would narrate.

Another book I listen to over again is "Ransom" it is different than other highlander stories it's more intriguing than most. You might want to listen to the first story "The Secret" first to understand the characters better. Some of the characters make you laugh a lot. Plus the narrator is one of the best. Susan Deurandon ... don't know if I spelled the last name correct. But she would make the best narrator for all the highlander books & Kirsten Potter too.
