I love this epic. Many times with this author I buy the audio instead of reading the book. However the narrator is so bad and sslllloooowwww. I had to turn up the speed and even didn't help. So I read the book instead and fell in love with this story. I would like the audio to be redone but I know that won't happen. BUYER BEWARE!

He knows looks can be deceiving, but it's hard to believe the beautifully quirky woman running around in a superhero t-shirt is a viable threat. The sexy little biomedical engineer quickly proves she is more than he bargained for and Intel has it all wrong - she's not the enemy. Far from it. Intel also forgot to mention one vital piece of information - she's Duke's mate.

Total surrender doesn't come easy to a natural-born alpha. Shape-shifting special operative Brad Durant has been held against his will by the enemy for nearly a year. He's given up hope and is fast giving up his will to survive - that is, until a hot-tempered, redheaded succubus is placed in the cell next to his. She calls to his wolf on a primitive level and he won't let anyone or anything harm her. Giving his body to the little minx is easy, but guarding his heart is much harder.

They don't do 'time-travel' - they 'investigate major historical events in contemporary time'. Maintaining the appearance of harmless eccentrics is not always within their power - especially given their propensity for causing loud explosions when things get too quiet. It runs the gamut of silly, sad , anger, anguish and downright zany fun. I'm very glad I stumbled across this book and author. Sara did a fabulous job with the story telling. Now, on to next book.
