- Overcoming the Unseen Forces That Stand in the Way of True Inspiration
- By: Ed Catmull, Amy Wallace
- Narrated by: Peter Altschuler
- Length: 12 hrs and 52 mins
Creativity, Inc. is a book for managers who want to lead their employees to new heights, a manual for anyone who strives for originality, and the first-ever, all-access trip into the nerve center of Pixar Animation - into the meetings, postmortems, and "Braintrust" sessions where some of the most successful films in history are made. It is, at heart, a book about how to build a creative culture - but it is also, as Pixar co-founder and president Ed Catmull writes, "an expression of the ideas that I believe make the best in us possible."

One of my employees recommended this book to me and I really enjoyed it. Ed Catmull is a fascinating person in general but having the opportunity to listen to his story over his career was better than I expected.
As a leader, I took many of the challenges and practices Ed and his colleagues put in motion to heart. During my read of this book as with many other leadership books, I made many notes from Ed's successes and tribulations. All of these can be learned from and I for one plan to use his experience to better my career and personal future.
I highly recommend this book and hope other readers enjoy it as much as I did.

Another great book by Lee with a wonderful message for everyone!
This is the 3rd book I have purchased from Lee and as always it did not disappoint. Lee tells stories from his life to address everyone’s challenges in day to day life. Sometimes it really is that simple, as Lee has said, “just be nice and you’ll go a lot further in life”.
I greatly appreciate Lee’s honesty and transparency in his message.
