In April 1997, pretty, 22-year-old Jacine Gielinski stopped her car at a red light in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She had no idea that the two young men looking at her from the car next to hers would in that moment decide she would be their target for unspeakable horrors.

The story of two sick and deranged killers who killed a young girl simply to live out their sick fantasy. Unfortunately this story is true and even the more scary thing is that there are more people just like them out there. The author does a good job telling the story. I don't think you can not choice a side when you tell a story like this. So while the author tends to lend towards the victim he does a good job giving back ground of all the parties involved as well as the justice system.

The narration as always was excellent. Kevin Pierce is one of my favorite. Job well done.

Every parent's nightmare in print. This is the story of a young lady that in the course of researching her family history discovers she isn't who she thought she was. And the steps she had to take to find out who she was and where she came from. While I believe this is fiction it is most definitely one of the worse things any parent faces as their children are young. It is well written and hold the audience through out the entire book. While some of Lisa's reactions and responses makes her appear to be a spoiled brat. Who knows how one should react.

I enjoyed the book and would say that most romance mystery readers would.

The book over all has a good story line. But the author is all over the place. One chapter she's writing about a 10 year boy. The next chapter she's gone back 100 years and writing about the first hot air balloon. It's this way through out the book. She seems to want to give a full history for her supporting characters which should not be necessary. The story is about a young boy that falls in love with hot air balloons and how that shapes his life through out his career in the military and there after.

While I've listened to the entire book I probably wouldn't pursue others from the author as I don't like jumping from one story to another. It's as bad as channel surfing.

Good book from an earlier decade. Well written the author does a good job of captivating the reader from the beginning. As I was listing to this one in 2017 it seemed strange that they used such minimal technological resources. Yet that was the best available at the time. The narrator does a good job with the dialect making it easy to distinguish between characters. Definitely on my list of referrals.

In today's world of reality everything along with instant gratification consequences later, this one is totally believable. Although the author did make the "groom" a little to chauvinistic in the beginning. It worked out to be a really cute book which was quick and easy to read. Totally enjoyed it.

Set in the 1930’s it’s the tale of a dinner party gone bad. Apparently I don’t read enough historical pieces as to me this one didn’t seem to stay in one era. I didn’t really care for the story as it seemed to portray most of the characters as too stupid to catch on to a ruse.

This is a great book. While its total fantasy it's a interesting read and holds your attention through the book. The author and the narrator did a good job making the characters real. The timing seems a little off in the beginning as it seems that the events take place years and years ago. But as the story processes it seems that it's only been in recent history. Within his grandfather's lifetime that all the events became to unfold. I won't give the plot away. But will say that it's definitely worth the read.
