After the loss of her entire family, Lorraine Peters heads to the woods searching for peace of mind and anything to quell her anger. Instead, she stumbles upon a scene of horrific violence, as one man lies helpless in the face of three attackers. Andor Katona's existence has been a harsh one, living for centuries as a monk in the Carpathian Mountains. Unable to find his lifemate, he almost welcomes his release from a colorless and unfeeling world at the hands of the vampire hunters who have mistaken him for their prey. That is, until a whirling ball of fury bursts onto the scene.

This was a cute story about the family. There are so many children (twins and triplets)...Jessie set herself up for many more books to come. :) The story of family, love and support from various characters is really nice. We also get a nice surprise for one of our main characters. Lovely story.

Even though he's lost his memory and and his dragon, she's drawn to him and looks forward to some no-strings-attached heat between the sheets. It was nice to finally read about a True Mate Dragon couple. Especially when both are so Alpha/leaders. It's fun to see how each of them "controls" themselves and you watch their love grow, as so do their character. Once again we have some new and recurring characters that are building for a story of their own. This story has an exciting plot, mystery, suspense and of course love!

BTW - This new narrator did a great job! 👍🏻

Evie: I met him in a snowstorm.... We spent 48 hours trapped in the back of his pickup truck. We fought. We touched. We fell. Hard. Storm: She literally crashed into my life.... The last thing I wanted was a relationship. Especially with a quirky chick who drove me insane. But something about her got under my skin, and into my heart. And I had to have her. All of her. Now. Falling in love in the back of a truck, just the two of us, was easy. Dealing with psycho fans, jealous exes, and demons from the past...not so easy.

Although I was a bit hesitant to read the book and it took me a bit longer, as the love story was about an older couple (and I didn't want to think of my parents!). As usual, the book is perfectly written and the story is told beautifully. Love touches people at all ages and comes in the form of second chances. Short and sweet and we meet a new character!

A social experiment (a scary but exciting concept): marry a total stranger, live together for six months, and journal everything. Feelings. Fights. All of it. After six months, we each get $50,000 in exchange for our journals, whether we stay married or not. But the goal is to commit to the experience and see if the relationship experts could put together the perfect matches. I have never been lucky in love. This was my chance to find my soulmate. I couldn't wait to meet the man the experts felt was perfect for me.

I think this has been one of my favorite books in the A&E series. So many emotions, I cried, laughed, got so angry, got happy. Just shows how communication is key in ANY relationship. I love the bromance between Talon & Lukas. I loved the character growth between the main characters of the story. I would totally recommend this book. Can't wait to read the next one.
