This is not a bad book, but it took a long time for me to get interested in the story. the characters were bland and the one nickname pissed me off every time I heard it. The narrator was also terrible at accents.

While the story was good, especially the second half, the way the author did the first part of the book didn't work for me. For me, it made it harder to follow.

As far as an audio book, this is terrible. the story may be okay, but I won't ever know, unless I read the book. I received this code for free, in return for an honest review. I got a message from the narrator asking me not to review it, unless I could give it a 5 star review, because he had been working on it for 5 months and has had enough negative reviews. I told him I only give honest reviews. I was between books, so I decided to listen to this one. I listened for 45 minutes and had no clue what was going on. I started it again and listened for 20 minutes. I finally gave up. This may be a wonderful book, but the audiobook is terrible. I have never heard a worse narrator of audiobooks. This was ridiculously bad. I am not just giving this review because the narrator didn't want anything but 5 star reviews. It's impossible to listen to this though. I tried. Twice!

This story wasn't as good as the first book, but was still a strong story. My biggest complaint is that it leaves you with many unanswered questions. luckily, I went ahead and ordered all the books, since I like them so much.

while the story was okay, it seemed very simple and the characters felt underdeveloped. there was also a background noise in the recording that seemed very distracting to me. I was always pausing it to see if the sound was actually on the recording or somewhere else.

While I enjoyed the book, I think the story was an little weak. Even for a kids book it seemed to be lacking enough substance. Kids would probably love it, but I felt it was missing something.

Caution spoilers ahead. I was enjoying this story until the end. Talk about a depressing ending. The guy dies and the evil jackass teacher has no repercussions for his antics.
