When he finds out his prized human slave has been snatched away from him by Khaz, a low class whore, and made a vampire, he doesn't care what he has to destroy to claim Noah as his own.

R. Pheonix is amazing with create these characters that make you feel! You are constantly on an up and down hill rollercoaster until the end!
I truly enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone looking for the feels and some dark romance!
Also, this narrator is great at voice acting!

Not only was the story a great retelling of an old classic "fake-marriage" trope, the narration was great!!
I think the narrator did excellent giving each character their own voice and really putting feeling into it! The part with Raph at the end had me laughing out loud!
The story really was great and the couple adoringly awkward! I love how the Alpha seemed more submissive and the Omega more dominant!

Getting knocked up mid mission isn’t the absolute worst way to torpedo your special forces career, I guess. But getting knocked up by my best friend - a mafia prince - makes for a special kind of FUBAR that military jargon can't quite handle. Life is about prioritizing what matters most and standing by those choices. I’ve never regretted mine. Parents said pick between being gay or being part of this family, I said see you later. My superiors said you can have a husband and kids or you can be the most badass omega special ops leader this army’s ever seen, I said sign me up.

I haven't read this series but I was able to easily follow along and was very hooked by the couple's stories and backgrounds. Information was leaked throughout the book instead of in one big chunk!

I could of used one more sex scene there at the end and would of liked to hear how they cohabited after everything!

Still a great story that captures the reader!

Until three weeks ago, Dorian was a human - one of those subjugated by the supernatural beings who now rule the world. He spent 10 years struggling to survive, but now that he's been turned, he needs to learn how to live. Problem is, there's a lot to learn but not much time to learn it in. Loneliness is far from the only problem, but it seems to be the most pressing.

This story was a lot sweeter than some of Pheonix's other stuff in the Fate of the Falken but no less enjoyable! I really liked the sweet coupling of a witch and a vampire, two that are supposed to be enemies but click all the same. And you get to hear a little more about the world came to be with the supernatural taking over in the beginning.

Zain was just a dog walker. It was an unconventional job for a werewolf, even a brand new one, but he liked dogs and they liked him. It only seemed to make sense... right up until the point a vampire called him in to take care of his human pup. When his life collided with Liam and Caleb's, none of them were prepared for the directions it could take. Especially Zain. But between the sexy pup and the vampire's creativity, the power struggles pitting dominance against submission - and acceptance - the two might be too intriguing to just walk away from.

Over the past decade, Khaz has watched as supernatural creatures like himself have turned the world into their own personal playground. Unlike the others, he didn't benefit from the Takeover, and every time he sells himself to keep a roof over his head, he's keenly aware of that fact. His landlord, a renowned slaver, offers him the chance to catch up on his rent by breaking a human.

Only suggestion is maybe more characters from the narrator. His voice is nice enough but all the characters voices seemed to blend together.

The narrator did such a good job of separating voices and although Sam's nerdy voice made me cringe at first, it was a great way to tell him apart. The narrator did a great job!

However I felt the story a little lacking for a Piper Scott book. The story fell together well enough but I found Sam's personality to waver. He seemed to fall out of character, at one point being a neat freak and then you wouldn't hear about it until the end of the story.

I am still looking forward to the next book though! Hoping is Sana and Sam's foster brother!

Kenneth does a great job narrating, there is a distinct difference between Tavi and Rex's voice which is helpful in keeping track of whose speaking.

The story itself is so different and so intoxicating, I would recommend this to anone looking for a sexy taboo story!
