Wrapped around an extended parable about a child, lost from his real parents and found and raised by a couple completely at odds with his heritage (his real family are renowned acrobats), this book shows us that the Gospel Jesus shared maybe different from the one we have heard. Each of us is born separated from our true Father and suffers from the ingrained habits of our "false parents" and even when we come into God's family, we often find barriers stand in the way of us becoming who God intends us to be. Bob Hamp encourages us to look and think again about everything we thought we knew.

Would you listen to Think Differently Live Differently again? Why?

I have been "working" on myself for a year and half now I think. and have listened to a lot of books that can give me insight on myself as to why I act the way I do at times. This book is a real eye opener for me. One more step to the man that I want to become. If you give this book a chance and listen to it with a open mind and heart, because we all can improve on ourselves. This book just be the one that helps you reach the next step.

On The Power of Vulnerability, Dr. Brown offers an invitation and a promise - that when we dare to drop the armor that protects us from feeling vulnerable, we open ourselves to the experiences that bring purpose and meaning to our lives. Here she dispels the cultural myth that vulnerability is weakness and reveals that it is, in truth, our most accurate measure of courage.

What made the experience of listening to The Power of Vulnerability the most enjoyable?

This book as Brene Brown's other book has help me understand why things come to my mind as they do. Being a man that's not wired to think about feelings and not even talk about them! This with her other books has realy help me to take and not be afraid to say how I feel about what ever. Thanks so much to Brene Brown for your work! and please don't stop looking and doing what you love.

What does it take to be secure in our sense of belonging and self-worth? We may hustle to attain this security through achievements, meeting expectations, or repeating affirmations to ourselves - but Dr. Brené Brown's research has shown there is ultimately one obstacle to our sense of worthiness. “Shame is the barrier,” she teaches, “and building shame resilience is how we overcome it.”

If you could sum up Men, Women and Worthiness in three words, what would they be?

Was very glad that this book was recommended to me! And wished I hadn't waited to listen to it. But I'm glad that i finnaly did. Brene Brown uses some of her own storys from her life to help relate the information that she is explaining. I listen to the book and there is a lot of info in there that I listen to it again back to back. And I'm listing to her other books and love all that I have listened to. For me you can't go wrong listing to her books. We all deal with shame and she to me has been the only one to address this. Thanks to Brene Brown for looking into men and how we deal with shame!
