This reviews isn't going to do this story justice. If you're looking for a great read that enchants you right from the beginning, look no further. I loved both the MC's which is unusual for me because the female characters are usually really annoying to me. Not in this story, she was wonderful. I even got a little misty eyed which is also unusual. There's no cliffhanger so go now and listen. You'll thank me later.

It was just a typical Monday. Until the big boss asked me to make the pitch for a prospective new client. After two years on shaky ground at work because of my screw up, an opportunity to impress the senior partners was just what I needed. Or so I thought, until I walked into the conference room and collided with the man I was supposed to pitch to. My coffee spilled, my files tumbled to the ground, and I almost lost my balance. And that was the good part of my day. Because the gorgeous man who crouched down and looked at me like he wanted to eat me alive was none other than my ex.

I was worried about the guy being with another girl between their seperation because I hate when that happens in books but I should have known I had nothing to fear! This was such a great book! This author is an auto buy for me and she just keeps getting higher and higher on that pedestal. The narrators were perfect and the story was perfect so perfection all around.

I've been waiting for this series to come on audio for years. Of course because this is one of my favorite series I had high expectations and after listening to it, I'm happy to say it exceeded my expectations! I love when the heroine is strong willed and kicks a$$ and doesn't need anyone to save her and I really love it when there's an alpha male to meet the heroines bad a$$ery head on. I can not wait for the next books in the series!!

'm a sheep.... baaaaaah! I'm so mad at myself for letting the negative reviews that I read for this series get into my head. I know Jeaniene Frost is an awesome story teller and writes bad a$$ heroines but I doubted her greatness. That's all on me. I think because I put her on a pedestal after falling in love with Bones (and Kat) that I was scared she wasn't going to live up to my expectations. I had to remember there's only one Kat and Bones and this is a different story and a different world all together and go in reading this as if it was a completely different author. I can't keep comparing all books to the Night Huntress series which is what I do!! So I bit the bullet and started listening to this series and I fell in love. I can't relate to the negative reviews at all. Ok maybe I can with one. It said that it ended abruptly and there was no epilogue to book 3. I agree with that comment but I'm hoping it's because we are going to find a follow up story to them in a future anthology. When I read a book I love when the h/H meet right away and then they are physically together for the majority of the book. That's what happened here. I also like that that action starts right away and again that's what happened here. The storyline was very interesting. Sometimes it was funny and sometimes it was sad.it was a perfect balance. There isn't any fluff or filler just to make the story longer. I hate when that happens. I think Ivy was a very strong character and although I wanted to strangle her at times, I totllay get her. And Adrian?? I loved his little lying demonic self. i listened to this whole series in 3 days and now that I'm finished I don't know what to listen to that'll be just as good. Oh yeah, one last thing. I can't remember if the sex scenes were descriptive or not but the story was so good that you wouldn't miss them if they weren't. If you are looking for an entertaining read and love paranormal than read/listen to this book. You won't be disappointed.

Conquering a supernatural realm turned out to be easier than getting over a broken heart. But her initial victory has made Ivy a target for revenge, forcing her to reunite with the dangerous - and dangerously sexy - Adrian. Ivy isn't sure which will be harder: finding the hallowed weapon that will repair the crumbling walls between the demon and human realms or resisting Adrian, who's decided that, come hell or high water, he will make Ivy his.

The author is Aurora Rose Reynolds so I already knew I was going to love this book. She writes the perfect alpha male. I love how the heroine didn't take his crap and called him out when needed. If you loved book 1 then you'll love this book 2. They can be read separately but you'll get a better understanding of the side characters if you read book 1 first.

It wasn't supposed to be like this.... I wasn't supposed to be boyfriendless, homeless, and jobless at 28. And I most definitely wasn't supposed to hit Hollywood's resident bad boy Gabriel Evans with my car and break his foot. Now I'm stuck in his apartment, taking care of him while he's incapacitated. Living with the hottest guy in Hollywood, who I've had a crush on forever, doesn't sound like a chore, right? Wrong. Gabriel Evans is rude and crude and drinks way too much, and as soon as his foot is healed I'm out of here. So why do I keep forgetting to check the classifieds?
