The Sea Wolf sets out to search for the Metal Islands. Leading the expedition is legendary Hell Diver Xavier Rodriguez. After enduring a decade on the poisoned surface, his survival skills will be put to the test on the dangerous open seas. But storms, sea monsters, and the cannibalistic Cazadores aren't the only threat to X and his small crew. Their mission will uncover hard truths about the history of the war that left humankind stranded in the air for centuries. So far this has been a great series. Usually the stories I’ve read after the second book the Author is having a hard time keeping the story going and it starts to drag. Not with this series, the Author has done a great job keeping the story interesting. I don’t think they could have found a better Narrator than Mr Bray he has that Hero’s voice. If your looking to start a new series I would say this is the series to read. I give it 5 stars and can’t wait for the next book.

I'm entering the endgame. Even as I gain new allies, new gear, and greater understanding of Albertus' true plans, the odds are growing more extreme. Who can I trust? What is the AI Albertus Magnus trying to accomplish? What happened to archmagus Jeramy, and why is Guthorios massing an undead army so vast that it stretches from horizon to horizon? Any sane player would quit. Any reasonable person would admit defeat. But I've got no choice. I'm going to see this battle through to its bitter end. I'm going to unearth the secrets behind Euphoria Online - or die trying.

With unforgettable characters, a sweeping backdrop, and passionate storytelling, this is a fantasy debut to rival that of Robert Jordan. Filled with adventure and bloodshed, pageantry and piracy, mystery and menace, Assassin's Apprentice is the story of a royal house and the young man who is destined to chart its course through tempests of change.

I keep waiting for so sort of action to happen and I’m on chapter 8. You would think that with a Title “ Assassins Appetence” there would some type of training using a sword, how to kill someone. This is like reading a kids book, no a kids book would have more action. This book is a total waste of time. I would not recommend it to anyone even if it was free.

This is an incredible series. I’m just finishing the last book in the series so I can actually recommend this series. I hate reading a review about how good a book is to find out this person has only read the first book, how in heck can you write a review when you just started. Anyway, I’ve never played those role playing games this book is all about BUT ! I still really enjoyed the series and by the middle of the series all those stats were starting to make sense to me. So it doesn’t matter if your into games or not this is still an amazing book. The Author does such a great job on characters development that you care for each character and you can remember who is who. And to me the narrator does an excellent job on the voices and he really added to the book and storytelling. I listen to the story while I’m at work and I enjoy listening so much I can’t wait to get to work so I can continue listening..If your wanting to start a new series I give this one two-thumbs up and I’m certain that you will enjoy this series. So get this series, put on the headphones, kick back and enjoy 😉

This was an Amazing Superhero story. I enjoy Superhero books, and I have to say Mr. Hayes writes the best stories by far. This series and the then the Corpies series just blew me away. If your looking for a series to read and your a fan of Superhero books please give this series a try. Your lucky now that all 4 books are out now even on audiobooks so you don’t have to wait for each book. I would say to please get the audiobooks because Mr McCarley does an Amazing job bringing the characters to life. I hope Mr Hayes will bring back these characters in future books. He could bring back the whole cast or just make a stand alone book of aeach character. Whichever he decides I hope it’s not to long before he starts another book about the gang of Superhero’s he has created.

I really enjoyed this book both the Author and Narrator did a wonderful job. I don’t think I’ve laughed so hard while listening to a book. I read the old Mickey Spillane books and watched Bogie and Cagney movies and this book fit right in with all these. I’m glad the author went the more humorous route in telling his story. The Narrator was perfect. Him trying to sound like Bogart was just too funny.
There wasn’t any dead spots in the story it kept your interest to the end. The characters in the book was fascinating and hilarious. If your looking for a fun, entertaining book to listen too give this a try I’m sure you will enjoy it.

I’m glad I stayed with this book usually if a book starts off slow and stays that way for a while I ditch it. But I thought I would give this book a little more time and I’m glad I did. The story was solid as well as the characters and I really enjoyed the narrator. So I will be buying the second book in the series and see how the story progresses.
