Jared Cartwright grew up in a loving, caring community, completely isolated from the horrors of the outside world. When tragedy leaves him alone and untethered, Jared sets out to explore the unknown; a world where twisted, scarred creatures roam an earth ravaged by nuclear war while the rich fled to the skies on floating utopias, escaping destruction and leaving the rest of humanity to die. To face his new reality, Jared must learn to survive in a cold, harsh world. A twist of fate changes Jared's destiny when he discovers dragons are real.

The grammar is terrible. It's like someone ran a thesaurus over repeated words and changed it to the next one. A whole lot of telling instead showing. Also it switches from first person to third person on occasion.

This is a post apocalyptic survival story, but instead of a grizzled survivor as an mc, we get a "I'll never harm another human *angry growl". what we get is a bunch of folks that admit to wanted to murder rob him, and him letting them go free.

I feel like little research on key topics was done, and that a discount editor was used. It's a crap litrpg, a crap survival post apocalyptic story, and a mc much to naive to have survived so long.

Lucia's the strongest person in the world, and she's perfectly content with living out the remainder of her life gorging herself on acorn stew and hot chocolate. Unfortunately for her, her sadistic sword spirit, Durandal, has different plans.

At the mercy of an unknown entity, Clyde gets tossed into the anime world. Yes, it exists, we just don't know it. There, he's declared the Stone, the anime main character. One day, he must kill the Viper, or else it's good-bye, Earth. This is the comedic tale of a young man vs. cliche anime tropes.

This is a story about an mc who thinks he's much smarter than he actually is. He complains about anime incessantly, over and over. The fixture on repetition is aggravating in a already short book. A lot of the word count are these exact words "... level is not high enough" followed by childish insults that are described as "sassy".

Also this book has rape. A world with so much potential is squandered.

All I wanted to do was have some R&R from my time in space with the Marine Corps. My tour was done, my days fighting bad guys over once and for all. Or so I thought. But damn was I wrong. So f--king wrong. Imagine being told you're going to be responsible for bringing a child into the world, one who would have the power to change it all, to once and for all fight off the evil forces threatening to enslave our galaxy and that of the supers who brought the message.

Terrence Mack was born poor, grew up tough, and died hard. Waking up in a sea cave with nothing but the clothes on his back and a new bullet scar was enough to convince him that wherever his death had brought him, it wasn't paradise. His new world quickly proves to be a place of danger, magic, monsters, and - for Terry at least - women. Known on Celestine as a template, Terry's genes are key to the survival of the eldritch races. But the fiercely competitive eldritch don't typically leave their lovers alive long, and aren't accustomed to taking 'no' for an answer.

The mental retardation of the sword and the beast girl was kind of cute at first, but Lucia's baby doll voice, much like a 1950's house wife in a sitcom, becomes like mental nails on a chalk board after an hour or two.

Do not buy if you like your MC to have an average level of intellect.
