This book is a social justice warriors dream. The fist ten minutes were like listening to CNN... bloody hell.. I listen to books to escape this garbage not to have it crammed down my throat at the cost of a credit!

My name's Griz. My childhood wasn't like yours. I've never had friends, and in my whole life I've not met enough people to play a game of football. My parents told me how crowded the world used to be, but we were never lonely on our remote island. We had each other, and our dogs. Then the thief came. There may be no law left except what you make of it. But if you steal my dog, you can at least expect me to come after you.

I loved it! Grizz (I hope that's the spelling) is such a great character and had such an awesome adventure! I honestly felt attached to the story and wished the end didn't come so soon, though making it linger on could have ruined it. C. A. Fletcher, I just want to say thank you for a great story.

I couldn't make it past two hours. A kids trying to survive on his own wouldn't sound like a cry baby. All the self loathing and terrible narration just made me want to toss my phone out the car window and cancel my Audible account. This is probably one of the worst books that I have tried to listen too.

The story was okay, the ending was very poor and the soap box rant at the end by the author really ruined the whole thing for me. I listen to books for enjoyment not to be chastised about climate change. If you write other book please leave out the liberal garbage.

After a long and eventful life, Allan Karlsson ends up in a nursing home, believing it to be his last stop. The only problem is that he's still in good health, and in one day, he turns 100. A big celebration is in the works, but Allan really isn't interested (and he'd like a bit more control over his vodka consumption). So he decides to escape. He climbs out the window in his slippers and embarks on a hilarious and entirely unexpected journey, involving, among other surprises, a suitcase stuffed with cash.

Meet Ove. He's a curmudgeon - the kind of man who points at people he dislikes as if they were burglars caught outside his bedroom window. He has staunch principles, strict routines, and a short fuse. People call him "the bitter neighbor from hell". But behind the cranky exterior there is a story and a sadness.
