Lo Blacklock, a journalist who writes for a travel magazine, has just been given the assignment of a lifetime: a week on a luxury cruise with only a handful of cabins. The sky is clear, the waters calm, and the veneered, select guests jovial as the exclusive cruise ship, the Aurora, begins her voyage in the picturesque North Sea. At first Lo's stay is nothing but pleasant: The cabins are plush, the dinner parties are sparkling, and the guests are elegant. But as the week wears on, frigid winds whip the deck, and gray skies fall.

The main character in this book is an idiot. The storyline is very unrealistic. It was hard to sit through. The narrator is mechanical and robotic. And no one was even exhumed so why is that the name of this book?? I'm done. I quit.

This book was incredibly predictable. It was long, boring, and a bit cheesy. It had potential. But the content was common and familiar and repetitive.

What did you love best about Bird Box?

The entire thing!! This book was so well written. I was on the edge of my seat throughout the entire novel. I can honestly say it was one of the best books I've ever read. Any waking and available moment I had was spent listening to this. 10/10 would absolutely recommend!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes! Absolutely!
