Mathew Kalling knows better than to get involved with a party girl. You can't be charged with running an oil empire and still think a wild woman is a safe bet. But once he's had a taste, he just can't seem to stay away. Try to sweep Jessica Thorne off her feet and she'll head for the hills. Nothing sends her running faster than grand gestures and fairy-tale promises. But when her back is against the wall will she finally take the risk and let love whisk her away?

I listen to audio books daily and have come to realize that Robin Rowan might be the worse narrator ever. He does not have enough vocal range. Most of the women sound like silly little girls and most every man sounds like the same man having a conversation with himself. From now on, I will avoid all books narrated by Robin.

She trades her bikini for an office job when he says there is trouble brewing at his clinic and asks her to keep an eye out for anything unusual.

Except for the fact that I want to know how something is resolved in this series I would have not continued listening because the voice used for most females in the series is absolutely terrible. It makes the characters unbelievable and I dread when they will be speaking.

The book might have been good with different narration. The man using a higher pitched voice was awful. The woman read a bit fast and sounds nasal. Not enjoyable lietening

Enter Hayes Whitley. Mega-movie star. The man who has captured the hearts of millions. But I gave him mine years ago. He was my first love. He was my everything. Right until he up and left to chase his dreams without so much as a simple goodbye. When he showed up out of the blue 10 years later, I should have known to steer clear. I should have rejected his offer to take me to my ex's wedding and told him he was crazy when he suggested we act like a couple to show my ex, it's true, I could do better than him.

Five years ago, Kayla Hopper and Prince Arkin Aubosson of Sigotta were patients, along with their spouses, at the same fertility clinic. She is now divorced, and the prince is a widower. A mix-up comes to light, revealing he is the father of her twins. Kayla suggests the only sensible option, a marriage of convenience, but wonders if she can maintain a strictly platonic relationship with the handsome prince, who is still mourning his first wife. This storyline was good, but the narration was terrible with many glaring mistakes which became more frequent and worse as the story went on. They were very disruptive to the story which is why I only have it two stars. I hope to never encounter this narrator again.
