Tall Pines; whether you listen to them on Audible, or read, they will keep you caught up in the storylines and make them very hard to put down!!! They work, well as standalone stories or...start with the very first one!!! These books make me want to visit the lakes regions in Upper New York, to see for myself, the beauty as described! I really loved listening to Hannah Seusy narrate, Essentially Yours!! She sounded just like what I though Marcie would!!!

Your fear is their entertainment... Andrew's life is one of bored contentedness: a teenage daughter, a faithful wife, and a middle-class job. He even has a Mercedes. His life is without drama, and the comfort of middle-age is setting in. That all changes when he refuses to buy a pack of cigarettes for the local gang of youths. Led by the emotionally unstable, and sadistic, Frankie, the gang target Andrew and his family in an escalating campaign of terror and violence that threatens their very lives.

Nick Adams is just a normal guy. He loves his family, appreciates his home, and covets his car. But he absolutely hates his job. Which is what makes it so difficult when not a single customer comes by his store that day. It seems as though there's a bug going around, something that has come out of nowhere and is keeping people at home. Still, it's probably nothing to worry about. People get sick all the time. And besides, things are finally starting to look up. Nick's first customer of the day has just stumbled through the door…

Would you consider the audio edition of Ravage to be better than the print version?

Yes, as It was awesome to hear it narrated by Nigel Patterson!

What other book might you compare Ravage to and why?

Any one of the rest of Iain Rob Wright books!

Have you listened to any of Nigel Patterson’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No, this was my first Audible book and it was an incredible experience to hear the story in a British voice!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

They were all memorable moments!

Any additional comments?

Years ago, I had Steven King books on CD's that the narrator put me to sleep...
Nigel Patterson keeps the story moving and his voice is just plain incredible!!!
