For those who have followed Atticus and Oberon from the beginning, this book adds nuances to previously told tales and gives us new stories to relish. Kevin Hearne's writing is entertaining and, dare I say it, educational. You always learn something about mythology or history (is there a difference?) from the Iron Druid's adventures. And best of all, Luke Daniels is a-maz-ing! This book especially challenges his character range ... Irish, British aristocracy, Texas drawl, demons ... and the hound of course. Oh, and there are poodles! Everything you would expect from Iron Druid Chronicles.

Mia Corvere has found her place among the Blades of Our Lady of Blessed Murder, but many in the Red Church hierarchy think she's far from earned it. Plying her bloody trade in a backwater of the Republic, she's no closer to ending the men who destroyed her familia; in fact, she's told directly that Consul Scaeva is off limits. But after a deadly confrontation with an old enemy, Mia's suspicions about the Red Church's true motives begin to grow.

As other reviewers have pointed out, the second book syndrome strikes in many trilogies. Not so for Godsgrave. New characters, new locations, new intrigues, new bad guys ... oh, wait, bad guys are now good guys? Lots of fun snark between Mr. Kindly and Eclipse. And holy moly, the head spinning twists will leave you wondering what you just read (heard). Mr. Kristoff left me breathless at the end. I want Book 3, now!

I am a 'crazy book lady' but rarely write reviews. This book, however, sent me dashing to my keyboard. Loved the story, the narrators AND the music, which made this an extra-special listening experience. Want a feel-good story that will keep you guessing until the very end? This marvelous book is it!
