Surprisingly delightful! ... that's what this book is!
I picked it out of my Romance package months ago and it has been sitting in my library every since, then when I didn't have any credits I chose this to listen to I'm only sorry it took me so long! All of the characters are so real and believable! I didn't want this story to end! The characters became part of my life and now I'm sorry the story is over. Don't let my use of the word ''Delightful'' fool you though, this book is FULL of twists and turns and surprising outcomes!

If there were ... Ann Marie Lee would DEFINITELY take home the golden trophy !!! Never have I listened to any kind of story read with such conviction and realistic emotion! The story takes its time (perhaps a little too much time) unfolding and establishing the character. However, after listening to the interview with the author, AJ Finn, afterwards I understand why. It's his love of Classic Cinema, the way classic movies take time diving deep into a main character's life, so much so that you really do believe the main character is a real life person that you know going through this situation in her life. Also, the reader is GREATLY rewarded the end!
AJ Finn ... I can't WAIT until your next book! ~ Kelly

Cass is having a hard time since the night she saw the car in the woods, on the winding rural road, in the middle of a downpour, with the woman sitting inside - the woman who was killed. She's been trying to put the crime out of her mind; what could she have done, really? It's a dangerous road to be on in the middle of a storm. Her husband would be furious if he knew she'd broken her promise not to take that shortcut home. And she probably would only have been hurt herself if she'd stopped.

I LOVE this this author. Behind Closed Doors was BRILLANT! This book, I have to note, went on alittle too long laying out the main character and plot. It isn't until the the 26th chapter it starts getting to where you can really 'sink your teeth into it' !!! But then, as is my favorite thing about this author, she brings the reader through the ending not only in a SO VERY satifying way, but she leaves you REELING !!!!!
