I'm breaking up with setups. No more “you should meet my son, nephew, grandson, the butcher, the guy down the street who mows my lawn.” People mean well, but machines know better, so I'll rely on the great dating algorithms of the web to find my ideal man, thank you very much. Soon enough, it looks like I’ve found him - his screen name is Lucky Suit, and he’s hilarious, quick-witted, and full of heart. But when we finally get together in person, I have the distinct feeling I’ve met him before. Funny enough - he says the same thing about me.

I thought the threat from Seattle was finished. That we showed up in time and took care of business. I hate being wrong. It really ruins my day. When Roger, the alpha of the North American pack, shows up at my door with the news that a demon has made it to the Underworld with knowledge of me, some hard decisions have to be made. Do I stay above ground, with all my magical friends, and wait for the battle to come to me? Or do I seek the demon out, and pluck the threat out by the root? I don't want my friends to die on my behalf.

Supernatural Bounty Hunter isn't the sort of thing you see on LinkedIn. But with a rare type of magic like mine, I don't have many options. Dangerous or not, the job is mine. After narrowly surviving my debut into the magical world, I made a promise to myself: no more hiding in broom closets. But with the Mages' Guild reorganizing faster than anyone thought possible, and naming me as their number one target, that promise seems a little far-fetched. Especially since my training with Callie and Dizzy, the highly experienced dual-mage pair, goes off like a cake in a cannon. Left to find someone that can fill the role, it isn't until a formal dinner party goes horribly wrong that I find the best (and worst) solution imaginable: Reagan Somerset, the leather-clad crazy woman who busted into my broom closet sanctuary in the first place.

I was very impressed w/this series. I have to admit that the reason I bought this book is because Nicole Poole is one of my 3 favorite narrator's. I'm glad I did. Penny & Emmery are great together & I've fallen in love w/Reagan. She is a boss b**ch w/good intentions. Look forward to reading about her & Darious.
I've always wondered in almost every book about the supernatural vampires get the rawest deal. They are always considered untrustworthy because sum abuse their power. But in every book there are ones who seem to help the witches, mages, werewolves, etc...against others vampires, witches, mages, werewolves, etc.... Then aren't the other supernaturals just as corrupt & vampires are hated by them just because the are the strongest. People fear what they do not know. But then they complain about humans fearing them. Isn't it exactly what they do to the vamps???? Lol
