Listened to the last books in the series so I decided to start at the beginning. It did not ruin anything. Good book, good narration...going to book 2 now...

Read two of the books in the series now, it was not what I anticipated. I am pleasantly surprised. I will go back and listen/read the others now.

What a great telling of a tragic event. I believe it is objective where it needs to be and subjective where it needs to be. I could write a long review but I will not. It tells the story where the movie has critical gaps of explanation.
Worth my time and money.

Tragic tale of a young lady. Well told and documented from all angles. appreciated the spoiler that the husband did not do it, that fact put the facts and my attention in the right mind set.
An in depth look into a dark but popular world along with the people involved, although this darkness is not limited to this world.
Still, a tragic ending to a life, many lives.

What a great book. Narration is great, content is great. A perfect mix of personal information and professional stories.
I enjoyed this as much as Jim Cirillo's books/dvds.
I cannot imagine the toll his pain has taken. I am sure it is a reflection of many in the front lines. His information correlates with Col Grossman's and is a tribute to his brutal honesty that was not withheld to save embarrassment.

Misleading Summary

Overall
2 out of 5 stars

I am in chapter 10 and the main character has only reluctantly confessed to a priest after confirming the confession is privelaged and cannot be shared. The summary made me believe the confession was willing and would start a quest. However, this seems like a standard story where the accused is railroaded by every possible person imagineable.
I was hoping for a more realistic story to highlight realistic flaws in our system...something to think about.

The first audiobook that I cannot make myself finish. Too much gritty sexual references in a story that goes in circles. I tried to stay with it hoping it would develop but it only went in a downward spiral.

I can not stop reading all of these stories. They are all great in their own way. Craig Johnson is a gifted writer. Keep them coming! Short but still great.
