When Alexander Westcott becomes the new Earl of Riverdale, he inherits a title he never wanted and a failing country estate he can't afford. But he fully intends to do everything in his power to undo years of neglect and give the people who depend on him a better life.... A recluse for more than 20 years, Wren Heyden wants one thing out of life: marriage. With her vast fortune, she sets her sights on buying a husband. But when she makes the desperate and oh-so-dashing earl a startlingly unexpected proposal, Alex will agree only to a proper courtship.

I have binge listened to all of Mary Balogh’s books.. she tells a perfect story and her series all draw you deep into the families involved... so much so that I am always feeling like I’m missing news of good friends when I am done. Rosalyn Landor is my favorite narrator for MB books and a favorite narrator overall. Her voice is warm and breathes life into every story she tells!

To stay sane, Andie Tilly must keep her mind on her work. Her job as a pediatric occupational therapist is the perfect distraction from the unspeakable tragedy she experienced as a child. But when she meets alternative-energy magnate Rhys Griffiths and his autistic toddler, Will, she quickly realizes her heart will never be the same. Especially when her name becomes Will's first word.

The headline says it best. Amy McFadden's performance was wonderful. I just bought another book simply because I enjoyed her narration of this one. This story was romantic, fun and made me laugh out loud. Amy's narrative made me feel like I was Andy sometimes. 10 stars!

I found the journal at work. Well, I don't know if you'd call it work, but that's where I found it. It's the lost journal of Nikola Tesla, one of the greatest inventors and visionaries ever. Before he died in 1943, he kept a notebook filled with spectacular claims and outrageous plans.

Where the hell is Tesla is a unique listen. The format is fun and the author's narration excellent. I found myself laughing out loud frequently.. I guess it is a good thing I was working in my own backyard during this one!

One month into our stay, we'd managed to dispatch most of our charges. We executed the chickens. One of the cats disappeared, clearly disgusted with our urban ways. And Lucky [the cow] was escaping almost daily. It seemed we didn't have much of a talent for farming. And we still had eleven months to go." Antonia Murphy, you might say, is an unlikely farmer. Born and bred in San Francisco, she spent much of her life as a liberal urban cliché, and her interactions with the animal kingdom rarely extended past dinner.
