Bennett Fox walked into my life on one hell of a crappy Monday morning. I was late for the first day at my new job - a job I’d now have to compete for, even though I’d already worked eight years to earn it, because of an unexpected merger. While I lugged my belongings up to my new office, a meter maid wrote me a parking summons. She’d ticketed a long line of cars - except for the Audi parked in front of me, which happened to be the same make and model as mine. Annoyed, I decided to regift my ticket to the car that had evaded a fine.

This was a very well written book. It kept me interested till the last second! I loved how the story unfolded. It wasn't what I expected it to be, it was better! It was nice to see Bennett finally pull back the shades and be vulnerable but I completely understand why it took him a bit to get there. He was dealing with a great loss.
Vi Keeland never disappoints! And to top it all off with Sebastian and Andy? Out of the park with those two! Highly recommend!

This book was so good! It was just as good if not a bit better than the rest! I loved every single moment of their love story! Loved the building of their relationship and they were able to resolve thier one little fight peacefully. The ending was so worth it for both of them! I'm so happy, I can't stop smiling! They deserved it! Just wish it didnt have to end! This book was one of the very few that I don't constantly look at the time to see if it's almost done so I can move on to something better! Great writing and exceptional narration! Hope there's a book 7!

I got out of the Marine Corps to give my daughter a better life. I'm a strong and capable single dad. I got this, right? Not so much. The one thing my daughter wants is the hardest to find - a mom. It's not like they're selling hot intelligent women at Walmart these days, and with the amount of baggage I'm carrying around, I might be out of luck. Yeah, so. We moved from Oahu to Maui. I needed a job, a place to live, and to get us settled. I thought it would be simple, but let's just say...mistakes have been made.

This book was good but it has the potential to be great. First, let's start with the audio recording ; it skipped in between a few chapters and there were a few long seconds of silence. That should have been edited out. Secondly, the story could have exploded. but there where gaps in the story that didn't make sense how they connected them in the end like the initial meeting between the characters, why was it never brought up till the last five minutes and nothing about it was ever eluded to ever in the whole story. Then there was the estranged wife/mother, we first hear about her looking for her ex husband in one breathe and in the next, she miraculously found his place, broke in, and waited for him to come home from the party he was just at, where he got the phone call about her. The structure and balance could use some work.

Narration was good with the female but the male was putting me to sleep Everytime he spoke.

This was by far the best in the series! I loved the story line. I got fraustrated with Ford for taking all that he didn't need to and being quite about it. Even though he could put an end to it all. But when it all slowly unraveled, I understood it. It was so beautiful to see him rise up to the occasion and take his life back; To see him stand up for himself and to see him create his own new family with Cam. Just Beautiful!
Of course the narration was excellent!

Colton Wild isn’t just the famous football player everyone sees on their television screen. I met Colton one summer vacation when we lined up on opposite sides of a flag football field. He was the cocky kid with clear blue eyes and a constant smirk. When he picked me up over his shoulder and ran with me the length of the field, I wanted to hate him. But somehow we were the last two left around the campfire that night. We talked for hours under the stars. And when he kissed me, I didn’t want him to stop. The next morning, I left. I thought I’d never see him again. And for ten years, I didn’t.

This book was great. Long lost lovers story who reunite and find their happily every after. However, I could barely finish it because of the female narrator. Her voice just gave me. constant headache. It was whining, Nasaly yet whisperery and so low. I just looked forward to the male narrator to come on. unfortunately for me, she had more parts than he did. Hopefully the next book in the series would use a different female if not I don't think I'll be patronizing and more books in the series. Very good story and I look forward to Dylan's story

This story was just so slow. No real peak. No build up. No mystery. Almost no plot. It was too long for a drawn out and over extended story with very little plot and more un-imagined love story. It feels like it was half baked or maybe not properly fleshed out. It could have used some more time developing a real plot, a lot more editing and a shorter time line in the story. The Narrator did the best she could with what she had to work with.

I appreciate the little mystery and slight stories of history and ghosts but nothing scary at all. It was funny, it was entertaining, it was a great romance!. I loved it. I always love books written by Lil Valente! You have a great creative mind. Keep up the good work. The narrators did a phenomenal job! Kudos! Definitely recommend this book. You won't regret it.

This book had my attention from the start to the end! There were no slow moments for me. It was interesting, it was steamy and it tugged at your 💓 strings. At first, in book one, I understood the feelings Gabe had for Caitlin, but not the rationale for his behaviors. Towards the end of book one and beginning of book two, I got it.

In book two, the callusness of his mother's behavior, was appalling! Money really does turn people for the worse. I felt for Caitlin with all she had to put up with.

However, book 3, put a nice salve on all the wounds when the prices unfolded and we got to see all the characters behind the scenes. It still has all the mystery and sexiness which made it all come together. I'm happy it worked out well for all of them at the end! Great writing! The mind that this kind of writing came from is exquisite. The narrator for a fantastic job bringing the many characters to life. I highly recommend this series.
