But as a favor to his ex-wife, he meets with the mother of twelve-year-old Joel, a boy poisoned by tainted children's medicine. This was a very good book. Although the book is a work of fiction . The theme of the book is just like real life situations unfortunately for some people. This was a great read and it is a story that will definitely tug at your heart strings. I give it 5 stars all the way. Cheers for the Under Dogs! It's that kind of story.

I could not finish this book. It was extremely irritating. I am not trying to be mean. Although the story had a good plot to it. The story also had a good twist to it. It was hard to sit through this book really. The narrator is also very good. But the main character is extremely gullable. The second main character is somewhat a bit too cold to believe. I didn't like it . But maybe you will. Like I said the plot was really good. The twist in the story was surprising. it made you want to listen to more. I really have mixed emotions about this book. I'm not being mean. But objective. Its a good effort. But it kind of fell short in some ways for me. overall I would grade this book a C. or C+. Thank you.

The title of this story alone got my attention. It made me wonder if it would be a good story. It was. This story has many layers to it. The layers are all woven together. You began to see that the plot thickens. It's not just a basic plot. And as the story unfolds. You began to see all is not as it seems in a good and bad way as far as the characters are concern. How they all connect ultimately. It's quite an suspense and romance novel. Check it out!
