The decision to start a new life is never an easy one, but for Joe the transition was far from figurative. Becoming a permanent addition to a game world, it doesn't take long to learn that people with his abilities are actively hunted. In fact, if the wrong people gained knowledge of what he was capable of, assassins would appear in droves.

For those who reside in the outer regions of Aleria, the day of bestowal is what determines their destiny. It is the holy day of the Goddess. The day that allows those of age to step forward and receive their blessing, to embark on the path that she has chosen for them. To receive their Classification, which dictates their strength and ability. For those people, the holy day of bestowal represents fate itself. For Dante, it represents salvation.

Before listening to this audiobook, I didn’t expect much out of it but the first few chapters enraptured me. There are lots of action which put me on edge. The narrator also did a great job with this story which is a plus. I am looking forward to the second book. Hopefully it’s soon that I will be able to listen to it. You won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend.

Dislike the MC. He’s too gullible, weak and blind to many things. I feel frustrated the whole time knowing that there were so many hints for the MC to doubt people around him but he’s constantly ignoring the obvious. Not recommended book.

In this emerging chaos, teenage Finn SunRider cares only for escaping the burning desert of the Crust and exploring the world he lives in. The story is good but the main character is too weak mentally and physically in my opinion. It’s frustrating that the MC didn’t seem to take action much but his friends did majority of the work for him. I wouldn’t recommend this book even though the narrator and story was somewhat good.

Aaron Hope plays video games, like a lot, just not professionally. When he entered the EpiX! Games! PVP World Championship on a lark, this college senior never expected to make it to the final round, nor to get drugged and shoved into the alpha test for World of Ruul. The premise for this virtual reality MMO is simple. Find all eight treasures scattered throughout the world before the maelstrom's forces devour everything in sight. The only catch? You can't log off, and if you die...well, let's just say what happens in the game doesn't stay in the game.
