I like this series, but this book is my least Favorite. There was a little bit too much chip on brees shoulder and this book seemed a little too close to a Sherlock Holmes novel with all kinds it big reveals that I couldn't follow

The idea of having multiple books about different shtf scenarios is appealing at first but at the end of the book I felt short changed. too little happened in the 7 hour book. it just felt incomplete. Maybe if it was written in a 15+ hour stand alone novel it would have met my satisfaction requirements.

not fun to follow. too much shoved into this volume. pointless to keep the two in the trout camp in. adding the addict didn't give the book anything. end was disappointing and anticlimactic.

very nice. far fetch epidemiology but it is sci-fi so...
fun to listen to and gradually makes things for the hunters harder and harder. every thing is bleak but the somehow keep getting it done (at a considerable cost).

I like to try and figure out the mystery while listening to the book but this book had no consistency. litteraly any thing could happen which made the story fall apart for me. it was like a bunch of random ideas where jumbled up and put into a book.

I could not finish it. I love apocalyptic event books, viral outbreak books, and yes zombie books. I thought I would like this one, but the readers voice and feel made it painful to listen to. I got far enough to know there was some type of virus striking people dead but could not force myself to listen to the reader until the end. I feel the story had awesome potential, but I will be looking out for this reader in my future book selections. If I wanted to fall asleep during a book I would have got paperback instead and read it myself.
