Just as the other books in this series I love the story line and the narrator. Some good plot twists in this one!

I love this book almost as much as the first book. Although I spent a lot of time crying while listening to this book. Narrator does an awesome job!

Amazing book but so heartbreaking to know that there is a lot of truth in the story about the despair in Russia during WWII. Very well written and narrated.

Easily one of my favorite books!

Loved the story line and loved the way it is told primarily by 2 perspectives. Also really liked having 2 narrators for the main characters. Only 2 negatives in my mind, 1 that the male narrator often mispronounces the youngest daughter's name. And 2, that the book is over and I didn't want it to end! I would love to see this as a series. So many wonderful characters to learn more about!

It's not so much that this wasn't a good book but it was NOT my kind of story. I hated the portrayal of Louise and her stupidity as such a feeble minded sucker. Although I was quite shocked by the ending, it was just not what I expected or wanted to see for an ending. Just my personal opinion though.

I have procrastinated to read the last one because I didn't want it to be over. But this was just as good as all the others if not better. Loved this book and loved this series.

As usual the Chet and Bernie Mysteries are entertaining and the author does an excellent job describing what canine body language and behavior looks like and what it could sound like if they had human thoughts. Very fun but I didn't love the ending as it left me hanging but that is probably the point since now I have to move on to the next book already!
