At last, the full story behind Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman's epic romance, including stories, portraits, and the occasional puzzle. How did they do it? They came from completely different families, endured a significant age difference, and were separated by the gulf of several social strata. Megan loved books and art history; Nick loved hammers. But much more than these seemingly unsurpassable obstacles were the values they held in common: respect, decency, the ability to mention genitalia in almost any context, and an abiding obsession with the songs of Tom Waits.

Love, Lucy is the valentine Lucille Ball left for her fans—a warm, wise, and witty memoir written by Lucy herself. The legendary star of the classic sitcom I Love Lucy was at the pinnacle of her success when she sat down to record the story of her life. No comedienne had made America laugh so hard, no television actress had made the leap from radio and B movies to become one of the world’s best-loved performers. This is her story—in her own words.

Addiction, pain, and explosive tempers are not exactly what you’d call the ingredients for a side-splitting comedy. Yet Steven Adly Guiguis has created a profane, hilarious masterpiece that earned a "hatful" of theatrical accolades in 2011, including a Drama Desk award for Outstanding Actor in a Play for Bobby Cannavale. Stars the original Broadway cast: Chris Rock, Bobby Canavale, Annabella Sciorra, Elizabeth Rodriguez and Yul Vazquez.

Matt Lancaster is the star quarterback at Bodine College, a small Southern Division II school with an ultra-conservative dean of athletics. Matt is also very much in the closet, and he thinks he’s kept his secret well hidden, until his best friends take him to a happy endings massage parlor and request a male masseuse for him. In walks Trevor Kim, a gorgeous, pierced, tattooed fellow Bodine student who does massages - without happy endings - to pay for school after his family kicked him out for being gay. Trevor takes one look at Matt and breaks all his own rules about mixing business with pleasure.

Tiffany can't avoid being funny: it's just who she is. But The Last Black Unicorn is so much more than a side-splittingly hilarious collection of essays - it's a memoir of the struggles of one woman who came from nothing and nowhere. A woman who was able to achieve her dreams by reveling in her pain and awkwardness, showing the world who she really is, and inspiring others through the power of laughter.

Lovers of old-time radio hold a special place in their heart for Agnes Moorehead. She was one of the busiest and most definitive actresses of that medium. The bottom line is that Agnes Moorehead is one of the few actresses who succeeded in every realm of show business: stage, radio, film, and television. This impressive biography proves to listeners and scholars alike that she was much more than the witch of Endor! This is the second edition of the best-selling book, with new material!

Huge fan of Endora and wanted to know more about Mrs Moorhead and what her story is I will say that the base of the bio is great and it does provide a great foundation however the way this is written at times it seems to be wordy and drawn out. Also the performer who’s doing the reading unfortunately does not let you get into the flow of the story instead the way she speaks it’s very obvious that your on the edge of what the story could be.

Creation and comfort, that being the case we see what a journey of purpose and dedication is like. Grant always knew what he wanted so nothing stoped that however the truly amazing part of the story is the finding the cancer of the tongue and what that represents to to the life of a chef. Grant had the fight of his life and we see what that means to him and his world. You root for him you cheer for him and u cry with him. This is an amazing book and if u know someone who wants to be a chef this is something they should read. This is life on the line baby.

It has been many years sense I have read this book, I decided I wanted to year it and I found this version. I could have not been more happy, 1st of all this is a wonderful example of how many times the innocent of youth can also be the naivey of youth. Dorian is a very young man who is taken with his own hype and the fact that he’s so stricking is his gift and his curse. It seems in the middle of all the admiration Dorian gets it comes to his attention that the future of getting old and sick may be his undoing, after siting for a stunning painting of him self he makes a wish to always be young and beautiful and they he would sell his soul to have that happen, He wishes that the painting shows all the wear and tear of his life. What happens is the fact that the painting because in many ways the outward manifestation of his souls and all the ugliness that has come about. There are so many lessons to learn here about vanity and about self awareness, but more than that it’s about humility and how important that is to being human.
