this story was good from beginning to end. It was a story about love, youth and the mistakes of short-sightedness. You will truly love test as a person as much as you hate some other of the characters. This is one of the definite classic. A must-read.

I haven't enjoyed a book like this in ages!
All I can say is that it is enjoyable from beginning to end and there is not a dull moment.
What I wouldn't give to see some sequel.

Unfortunately, the story was ruined by the voice actor who tried to do the accent of the characters. This resulted and often times unintelligible read. There are entire parts of the story that I missed out on, not because I wasn't listening but because I literally could not understand what was being said. Any other voice actor would have sufficed, so long as I was able to understand what was being said. If you are going to do an accent, at least do it well.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

The only thing that I would change is that I would add more stories to it! I was sorely disappointed when it was all over.

What other book might you compare Great Horror Stories to and why?

Any other short-story-collection-type of book. Since it's not a single novel or novella, it is a difficult question to answerm

Would you listen to another book narrated by Cathy Dobson?

I would, but only after having gotten used to her way of talking. Some may find the way she pronounces certain things kind of annoying. I found myself getting used to it and enjoying her narrating. (Although she is far from my favorite narrator)

Was Great Horror Stories worth the listening time?

Yes.

Any additional comments?

This one is worth the money/token.
