storyline is very good. I know it's been inspired by a biblical story, but the author told her story her way. Angel's journey was a long tough one, but Michael Hosea won my heart forever.

In the beginning, they lived like nomads, moving among Southwest desert towns, camping in the mountains. Rex was a charismatic, brilliant man who, when sober, captured his children's imagination. Rose Mary painted and wrote and couldn't stand the responsibility of providing for her family; she called herself an "excitement addict."
